Morgan’s Wonderland is one of my favorite places to go when in Texas. After arriving to Texas on the 11th we stayed one night at our dear friends Jennifer Mckeough’s home. We had a lovely time with her and she cooked us a fine meal! We headed to my Grandpa’s Curtis and Gammy Pat’s place the following day and stayed the week with them hanging out on their ranch and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

On Saturday morning we packed up and headed south to San Antonio. We met my granny half way as Paw Paw Brown and Uncle Jesse were driving her to meet up with us half way! We also were meeting our dear friends Daphni and my best buddy Connor. Connor and I have a date each year to meet at Morgan’s! We ride all the rides together and check out all the cool things Morgan’s has to offer. This year Morgan’s added a ferris wheel. It was so much fun to be way up in the sky looking down below at the beautiful park. My granny is scared of heights but that day she got the nerve to go on the ferris wheel with us! It was so much fun. It was super hot that day close to 97 degrees but thankfully there were some clouds in the sky so it wasn’t too bad! Morgan’s is in the process of building a water park and next year it will be ready for me and Connor to play in the water. I can’t wait to see it! Morgan’s is simply the coolest place ever and the fact that I can be changed their comfortably, I can ride all the rides, and everyone is always nice to me. It is the best thing ever. I can’t wait to go back next year.

As always we have much preparation before we travel from Costa Rica to Texas. Besides from my parents trying their best to keep me as healthy as possible we as well have an entire house to pack up just for me. We travel with all my medical equipment, including a portable oxygen machine, aspirator, nebulizer, respiratory vibrator, feeding pump, bags, and syringes and all my medicines is to say are a few things to get together. We typically travel with a couple of extra suitcases so we can come back with medical equipment for me.

I am feeling good and am ready for this trip. I have had my typical bout with seizures bothering me every now and then and as well with some problems with phlegm in my lungs but over all I am well. We are excited about going to Texas and seeing all of our friends and family. It is journey worth every mile we cross and even though it doesn’t get any easier with my size it is worth every moment. I thank God everyday for all my friends and family and for those who continue to support me and help me each step of the way during. Natalia will be joining us this year and she will meet up with us a week before my benefit. I am excited and know this trip is going to be a great one.

We left for San Jose on Friday and we fly out Sunday. My parents always give me a day of rest before we fly and I am grateful for that day. Our trip to San Jose went smoothly and we were at Auntie Krystal’s house by 2pm that afternoon. Now it is just waiting before we board that big bird! Looking forward to seeing you all real soon.
