We decided to venture to Curu Park. It is about 45 minutes away from home… We have driven passed it a million times on the way to the ferry and have always mentioned that we want to go. Well this year we finally did it! My parents, grandparents and I headed out the Friday before Christmas. It was a beautiful day. Curu is a wildlife refuge and also has some very pristine beaches. We took Salmon sandwiches for our picnic and my stroller and beach chair.<\/p>\n
We started out on a hike\/stroll to go and see the Spider monkeys. These monkeys are really cool they stand up and walk on two legs like humans do. They are behind a fence right now as they were saved from being house pets. They seem very sweet. We continued on our hike and had a lovely walk thru the jungle. We came to a couple of sketchy parts where mom and dad had to pick me up in my stroller and hike me up and over some rocks and huge roots! We also crossed a suspension bridge! The bridge was so skinny we did not think at first my stroller would fit but it did and we made it over the bridge! How exciting.Us Moore’s don’t let anything get in our way! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
After our hike we headed for the beach. The tide was up but that was okay dad found us the perfect spot and we all sat down for a nice picnic lunch! I was starved after all that strolling! The afternoon seemed to fly by and before you know it was time to go home. It was such a lovely day had by us all. We will definitely be back! Maybe when my cousins come to see me!<\/p>\n
