Whew,,,,, party over lights out for me!!

Day three at boot camp, I continue to amaze my therapists!! I am working so hard that today I took a good 3 hour nap after working out! Whew,,, I was pooped!!

Christine included me in the Navasana Pose! She is a great yoga teacher and comes out every Thursday to practice yoga with us on my new yoga platform!

Today I had to take a swallow test! My mom would not let me eat for four hours and at 9am we went in to have the study performed. I had to drink this pink liquid so that when they x-rayed my chest the doctor could see where my milk was going.  The had me every which way on a very cold table but I looked cute in my hospital gown. The doctor said I swallow like a princess! I knew it! Every now and then I cough when I drink my milk and that worries my parents but today I showed everybody I can drink up like a big girl! We are all really happy about this news, especially me as I also got the okay to introduce new foods!! Yummy!!!

Boot Camp started yesterday!! I am working out two times a day back to back with my PT and OT for this week! On Monday I did a great job! Even though I was tired from our journey in I had lots of energy to work out for 1.5 hours! Both therapist were so proud of me and said it looked like I had been working hard this past month! I held my head up really high for them and showed off a bit when I took a toy in my hand and twirled it around!  My mom and dad like to come in and do extensive therapy with me so I can get a really good workout and they can learn new exercises! I plan to have a great week and keep impressing everyone! Ciao for now! Malia

Hi everyone!
Well mom and dad have me on the road again! We left for San Jose on Sunday to catch the ferry. When we got there they told us it was full!  Boo!!!! We had to turn around and go home! I did not care though I got to see my dogs again! So at 2:30 am the next morning my mom and dad took me out of bed in my pajamas and we headed for the ferry again this time trying to catch the 5am ferry! We got there an hour early to make sure we were getting on the ferry! My first PT appointment was at 11:15am and we cruised into town around 9:30am! I am lucky my good friend Pipa is letting us stay at her house this week in Escazu! She is the best! More later!!! Love Malia
