Enjoying sitting!

My good friend Karen brought me down my Bumbo Chair! At first I was having a hard time sitting in it as my head always wanted to go backwards! So my OT Helda who is so very creative made me my very own personalized head rest! I love it! It keeps my neck straight and I am constantly working my neck muscles! We could not get the velcro to stay so my Paw Paw Brown made made me a little wooden stand so that I cant push off the velcro! It works great now! I am so happy I have so many people who care about me and my progression!

What a party!!!  The sun shined on me on my birthday as it had been raining for days!  It was a beautiful day to have a party! My dad set up badminton for the big kids, and put out the soccer ball.  I was very excited and didn’t nap at all once the party got rolling.    My mom is following family tradition and baked 2 cakes; one was a kitty cat cake for me and the other chocolate for my Dad’s birthday.  We had many friends over, dad grilled fajitas and my mom and granny made all the fixings for them.  I never had a fajita before as I am still too small for that but my mom gave me chicken, black beans and guacamole and it was muy rico!!!!  The best part was my cake!! I received so many great gifts from all my family and friends! I can’t wait again till next year’s party!
