Today we loaded up the car, said goodbye to Selva, Indio, CHupa and Bismark and headed to San Jose. Tonight we will be staying with our good friend Krystal and her two kids Valentino and Jasmine. They are good friend’s of ours! Wednesday is a recuperation day for me from journey into San Jose and Wednesday morning we fly off to Dallas Texas!

September 9th
My parents woke up at 3:45 am and snagged me out of bed at 5:00am! Our flight left at 8am and since we have so much to take with us we give ourselves plenty of time!!! First phase went perfect! No problems at all. Our flight is on time as well which is a great thing!
We will be in Texas by 1pm! It is a short flight only 4 hours! Thank goodness! Nobody likes to sit too long! Watch out Texas here I come!! 🙂

Special Olympics Costa Rica

Thursday, August 20th, 2015

Last week my school called my mom and asked if I would particpate in the Speical Olympics. Last Thursday me, mom, dad, maria and granny loaded up in the car and headed to Paquera. It is about an hour away from home. We were all really excited about being able to go to the games. The special education teacher asked if my dad and I would participate in the 25M run!

Dad held me in his arms and ran with me those 25 meters. It felt good having the wind in my hair and the sun beating down on us. We werent racing anybody but they were keeping time and everyone was cheering me on. We had fun. It makes me happy that I could run with dad. After the race I was given a medal and a certificate for the Special Olympics. I had a really cool tshirt given to me as well. All the athletes wore the same shirt.

We were amazed at how mnay people were there and how well it was organized. It was a day I will never forget. I know how proud I made my mom and dad. I was proud of myself as well.
We will be practicing for next year! Dad wants to try and run the 50Meter!! 🙂

tick tock

Tuesday, July 21st, 2015

Tick tock goes the seizure clock you will never learn how to leave me alone. You come when I sleep and when I awake at times you never leave me alone. You hang over our family like a dark grey cloud. Why wont you leave me alone? I just want to sleep and open my eyes and give my parents the smile they know… Tick tock seizure clock please please leave me alone. Not a day goes by that you arent by my side always haunting, waiting, to make your move. You dont scare me seizure man, you make me only stronger each time you strike. You lift me higher and brighter I am an angel you see and I am stonger than you, smarter than you and will continue to always fight you…. You wont bring me down….I will conquer you….

June 28th 2015
I lost a dear friend. My friend Juan had been good friends with my parents for many years. Juan was a very special person. He was always so kind to me. He talked to me and he kissed and rubbed on my feet whenever he came to visit us! His daughter Hope and I are friends. She must miss her dad so much as well as his other children and all the rest of us down here! I know you are soaring in heaven now and playing guitar beautifully with the angels. You will be greatly missed.
Love always,

My special jewelry

Monday, July 20th, 2015

It was quite the honor to wear my nice jewelry to Irene’s wedding. It has much meaning to me. My bracelet was given to me by Kathy who now is considered Aunt Kathy! It was the first time we met at my benefit two years ago that she brought me this beautiful bracelet. Then when she came down for my birthday party she brought me something even more special. A tiny wooden box held a petite amethyst and diamond ring that was once Lindsay’s. Kathy had the ring espeically made for Lindsay when she was a little girl and now she was giving it to me to wear. I absolutely love it! It was a perfect time to wear Lindsay’s ring to Irene’s wedding. I wear it with honor and pride. I look up to Lindsay she was my hero and still is! No other has fought Lissencephaly for so long like Lindsay did. Thanks Aunty Kathy for giving me her ring. It is so very special.
