On Saturday my mom went down to Aunt Karen’s to get my new glasses! Karen was kind enough to bring down to me my glasses, my new air jordan high tops, and my Big Mack! You are thinking what is a big mack? Well it is a communication device that my therapist in Austin seems to think that I am ready to talk to my parents! I have been trying to tell them that forever now!! 😉 It is a big round yellow switch that my mom will talk into and record her voice. Then she can ask me questions and I can hit the button to give her an answer! We are going to give it a shot anyway and see how it goes with me communicating with my parents this way!

My glasses have opened a new world for me! I am farsighted and now with my glasses I can see everything so  much clearer! Yeah! As for my shoes my mom and Daniella put them on me today and I was up on my feet again but was feeling lazy from the weekend so we did not get in too much of practicing walking today! There is always tomorrow!

Last weekend was beautiful but Monday it started to rain and rained for 5 days straight without stopping. Tropical Storm Tomas really came down upon Costa Rica. It was so wet and cold we pretty much stayed upstairs the entire time! When I say it rained it really really rained! One night we received 6 inches of rain in 2 hours! The rain finally stopped on Saturday. Today it is beautiful the sun is out and I am back out at the platform working out! Yeah!

We arrived on Thursday to Delicias! It was so great to see my dogs, Bismark, Luisa, Daniella and Maria! What a long time to be away from home! Of course Luisa had my bedroom looking beautiful with flowers! She is so sweet! What a great trip we had! It was so nice to see everyone! Now it is back to work for me! I am ready though! I cant wait to try out my new glasses and tennis shoes!
